Gandalf

by Rick St. Dennis
Isn't he just magnificent! Here is Gandalf the magician in all his glory. I do like to almost complete my cards except for the sentiment then I have some ready to send out, I think this is a striking image to use for a male card. Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. The background papers are  a new mcs set which I am going to enjoy browsing through.

Sunday We have been working in the garden. I have been weeding today, right round the first mound and along the rose border, I am about half way round the patio and things are looking good in the garden. Colin has put netting up round the raspberries, and planted the tomatoes in the greenhouse. The potatoes are in the veg patch and the rhubarb is poking out the top of it's container. He hasn't been overdoing it and we sit on the swing with a cup of tea quite often. It makes a change from not being at the hospital... the treatment starts again tomorrow. Colin has been very tired due to the treatment and has awful indigestion although it isn't indigestion as I would experience... Colin says it feels like something is stuck in his throat, so he is on fairly soft food at the moment... food without corners. Just chicken casserole and mash tonight with a fruit smoothie before the meal to chill the throat.

Morning Goddess Edie

by Rick St. Dennis
I have been quite busy with this project. In the background (through the window) is Rick's digi  Three Chimney Cottage  then the digital path is by make it crafty called Cobblestone Path. The sprightly lady digi with the brolly is by Rick -  Euro Girl Susan (yes...it's me drawn by Rick). The wonderful Kitchen Wall digital image with the cooker, cabinets fridge, everything is by make it crafty and is part of a set, I used a digital punch to clear a space in the wallpaper for the window 'glass'. The wallpaper is made in mcs. And the gorgeous lady with the coffee is Morning Goddess Edie  by Rick just flipped to face the other way..
This was printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers.
I had so much fun colouring all these elements and can't wait to complete the second part of the kitchen set.
I have several more Morning Goddesses to post, eventually I am going to frame each image to go in my kitchen..

Little Frost Dragons

 Frost Dragon Birthday
by Rick St. Dennis
This gorgeous little dragon is available with or without the Happy Birthday in the background. I will link up the second image as soon as I find the listing. I think these cards show how different images can look in another colour. Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Background made in mcs.

Stepdaughter Lisa and husband Manwai with Poppy, Jasmine and Jaydn

Making stuffing balls

Part 2
We had a lovely time Easter Friday, I really, really  love this little family I just wish my thoughts didn't turn into butterflies - I know what time to put things into the oven but when I am surrounded by little voices who all want to tell me the news and to pinch bits of chicken and cheese and I need to keep Poppy away from the oven and try to rescue the gravy from boiling over and to find Jasmine's knife (dinosaur on handle) and to make sure everyone's got a drink...bit like painting a bridge... once I finish I have to start again. And then we had races on the Wii and toddler Poppy was given a steering wheel but gave it back 'cos it didn't have buttons. Then mid race (with a steering wheel with buttons) she kept shouting I won! and pressing the buttons before Granddad was ready, then team Tinkerbell (Jasmine and me) are really looking good this season with Baby Peach as a driver. Then having Wii breaks for more drinks and Poppy finding a little bag of sweets... tiny teeth and toothbrushes!! Handing round these little sweets so the kids don't have a sugar rush then back to the race and finding a very sticky half chewed sweet toothbrush sticking to my arm so I was distracted (butterfly brain again) and we came 10th. There's nothing like a accusatory stare from a granddaughter to put you in your place! We are going to their house next week for Colin's birthday so we can just relax although Jasmine's new game is to hide behind us when we are looking for her, then when we turn she moves round so we still can't see her....note to self - must lose weight

Bitsy on the beach snapshot

Bitsy at the Beach on Zibbet
by Rick St Dennis
I am loving this image. Here is Bitsy on her holiday posing for a photo. Looks like she has caught the sun a bit. Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. I don't know if it shows up very well but I have glossy accented the swimming ring, bucket and spade. The gorgeous beach scene is called  Island Hideaway  by make it crafty, link to the company on my sidebar. Background papers made in mcs.
We have been dashing round like flies with blue bottoms today. Colin had radiotherepy this morning at 8' ish then I had a dentist appointment at 11.30 (I'm still without several teeth... he used a little blowtorch!!! eeek!!) then it was back to the hospital later this afternoon for more radiotherepy. Colin is positively glowing... but we're both pooped. I've still got housework to do and potatoes to peel for tomorrow. We're having the kids over for a roast so I won't know if I'm Arthur or Martha tomorrow. The children all help with the meal, even toddler Poppy helps by carrying in the tablemats.  It's going to be noisy and a bit messy and we are going to be so happy to have them round, as long as no-one interrupts me when I'm counting the potatoes. I think it will be a lovely photo opportunity.

Aurora Wings Secret Kisses

by Aurora Wings (link on my sidebar)

An absolutely wonderful mermaid drawn by the amazingly talented Mitzi Sato-Wiuff. This image is hypnotic and such a pleasure to colour. I will be making this into a framed project so you'll see her on my blog later. Printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers. Then frantage in the corners with ribbon and oyster shell. Script and papers made and colour changed in mcs.
Colin has been making smoothies. We have had banana and raspberry and banana and chocolate, and today it was blueberry and banana - it was so thick Colin balanced a couple of blueberries on the top. The smoothies are wonderful  and count towards my 5 a day, Colin has just said it should be 7 a day now... I'll look like a flippin' banana soon.
It has been a beautiful day here, not too much driving around. Just a blood pressure test for Colin, a couple more days and our road trips to the hospital start so I will be packing sandwiches and a drink.. on at least one day we have two hospital visits with several hours between appointments. I wouldn't be surprised if Colin glows after all this radiotherepy.

Garden Wedding

by Rick St. Dennis

This beautiful image by Rick shows a young woman attending a Spring garden wedding. Hats. I love Rick's hats. He has drawn many ladies wearing the most spectacular hats... really worth a look see. Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. I take these images and pens with me when I go to the hospital with my husband Colin. He now has his radiotherepy appointment list... goodness, every day except for weekends. It's going to be quite tiring for Colin having the treatment so I will get comfy in the waiting room and time will go by much quicker.I would like to enter this into the following challenges

Lucifer

by Rick St. Dennis
I seem to be going over to the dark side with these creepy images. I still adore fairies and prettiness but sometimes... the red mist descends and I need horror films to watch whilst ironing and a certain spookiness of images. So, I can always find enough inspiration at Rick's Zibbet site and here we have Lucifer in all his glory. The image is printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers.

Easter Bunny

 2014 Easter Bunny
by Rick St. Dennis

Isn't he just spectacular! A brilliant bunny for 2014. I had a great time colouring him. A 'small' Easter egg to the left of me, a 'smallish' one to the right and I was in chocolate heaven. So, Mr Bunny here was printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Then button center flowers and ribbon. Background, frame and sentiment made in mcs.

Bunny in a basket

Basket Bunny   on Etsy
by Rick St. Dennis

Another wonderful bunny. Isn't he smartly dressed for an Easter egg hunt! Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. I lassoed, copied and pasted the little Easter egg and made a tile background over a pale floral background paper. then added ribbons, flower, buttons and sentiment in mcs.
I may have to miss out on a few Easter eggs.... this lunchtime I was just tucking into an egg sandwich (with sweetcorn and mayo on homemade bread) when my bridge fell out! So now I have quite a gap on the upper row of teeth, I could go and shout and scream on Jeremy Kyle, I would have said swear but just shouting poo..doesn't always have the desired effect. Still, my dentist can fit me in on Thursday afternoon ho hum... it never rains but it pours! I would like to enter this into the following challenges

Cursed

 Cursed on Zibbet
by Rick St. Dennis
I love the simplicity of this image, the shading Rick has drawn really helps with the colouring. I don't have much experience colouring 'glass' digis but I'm quite pleased how this has all come together. I'm still happy using neenah paper for the images and promarkers for the colouring. Not ready to change anytime soon.I would like to enter this into the following challenges

Hexology Two posts for today so please scroll down for Lady Felicity

by Rick St. Dennis

Well...creepy or what! This is my first time colouring a skull, I really enjoyed working with this image with all the bottles and eyes...  hmmm... So, printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Both the backgrounds made in mcs as was the script - a slightly altered version read on a tombstone.
As always, printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Two backgrounds made and colour changed in mcs. Script also made in mcs.

Lady Felicity Highrumple

by Rick St. Dennis
This wonderful lady is the very backbone of British High Society. Or at least so her mother told her. Straight back, elbows off the table, a lady never... and a lady always... but after one or two 'tiny' sherries she loosens up a bit and starts being quite naughty. Pardon me Vicar!
So, neenah, promarkers, my craft studio et al.. I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Get off my back

by Rick St. Dennis
Another unusual image by Rick. I'm loving this dragon and brave knight. I am sending this card to someone who could do with knowing all is not lost... keep going! Sometimes Rick's images tell a story and I think I am going to use this image quite a lot.
Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Background and script made with mcs.

by Rick St. Dennis
So sorry, this should be going live on 7th April so you have a week to join in the fun over at Craftblogger.

I am part of the guest design team for Craftblogger. This lovely fairy is available with or without a border. A lovely Springtime image so easy to colour and the border adds another dimension framing the fairy beautifully.
