Rick has several image collections and this is one of my favourites. Last year I coloured up this image and placed it onto a tag on my home made lemon curd and now he is on a little 'Hi Jasmine' card for my grand-daughter.
Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Imported into Craft Artist 2 for the removal of the white background and the addition of the papers and embellishments.

Autumn friends

by Rick St. Dennis
I know it is a Halloween image but I use this through Autumn as a little note card. I love rich Autumnal colours and have a collection of papers and embellishment to match.

Introducing Willaworm

by Rick St. Dennis
Made just because of the sheer joy of colouring. This trainee witch with all the additions of a spider, scorpion and shrunken head just waiting for the next spooky spell lesson.
The image was printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. I imported  the image into Craft Artist to remove the background. I used 'material' from 'Fall Splendour' and this wonderful frame is from 'Frames and Corners' with the colour changed. These two kits are fast becoming my favourites.

Gardenpatch

by Rick St. Dennis
I just adore this lovely little garden fairy coloured up for Autumn. I wonder if she is thinking that maybe she should have planted more leeks or that perhaps snail jam might sell well on the stall by her gate. These little fairies have so much personality they just shine.
Image by Rick, colours by promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Frame and bits and bobs added in CA2.

Busy little chap

by Rick St. Dennis
Busy times for this Bizzy Elf. He's got to catch up with Mr. R. Elf... only a matter of weeks till the Big Day and everything has to be ready on time and we have to get through Creepmas first....oh boy! it's going to be a bit tight!
As always, printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. Scanned into Craft Artist 2. White background removed and a background of Autumn ephemera  added.

A very fast little helper

by Rick St. Dennis
This fantastic little chap called Mr. R Elf just has to run everywhere. It's a very hectic time of the year for elves, if they run out of stardust or cookies then someone  isn't going to be a happy snow bunny. Luckily this speedy fella can collect orders almost as quickly as they're written out.
Drawn by Rick, printed onto neenah card, coloured with promarkers then scanned into Craft Artist 2. The white background was removed and papers and embellishments from the Hollyberry Christmas collection added.

31 Days of Halloween Book

I really had a wonderful time taking part in the 31 day Halloween hop over at Smeared and Smudged. I managed to write a bit of a story each day and had so many lovely comments that I printed a book of the projects and the comments without any names or personal details.. to keep as a muse. So, I printed each project A5 size with the comments and used my Cinch binding machine to punch the holes I set the pages onto the wires whilst I made the covers. I cut the chipboard to A5 and punched the holes. I had some ordinary 3ply tissues. I separated the tissues and used single thin sheets all scrunched up and stuck them onto the covers. I gesso'd them and rubbed distress ink all over. I was astonished at the result.
by Rick St. Dennis
An example of the inside of the book, the project and the story then a page of some amazing comments.

Inside the front cover is Rick's bio, I owe an awful lot to him. He is so generous and very supportive.

Kicking up her heels

by Rick St. Dennis
This lovely lady is just having so much fun before settling down to all the Christmas festivities. She is having the elves over this week for recipe testing so things are going to get a bit messy in the kitchens over at the Claus's house. But... there is always time for a dance when her favourite songs come on radio.
Mrs Claus has been printed onto neenah. Coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. The background, frames, embellishments and sentiment are made in Craft artist 2 with the kit called Christmas Foliage.

Am I too late?

by Rick St. Dennis
I think Salome is too late to the party as always. There are bound to be some stragglers so we will have to see what happens as the weeks go on to Creepmas.
This dramatic image by Rick St. Dennis has been printed onto neenah card which I buy from Crafters Companion and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils. I also use a program called Craft Artist 2.. sometimes you can buy this program for under a fiver. Believe me it is fantastic value for money as a manipulation tool.. also you can collect several free digi kits to go along with it. The program itself has background papers, embellishments, colour and photo manipulation in fact everything I could possibly wish for except ease of use. Therefore I have written several tutorials to go along with it. Not professional ones just as I go along and learn stuff so I write it down to share with other newbies.
