Cheat!

by Rick St. Dennis
Background My Garden and Special Effects 2
for Mischief Circus

One more for the series, I am having so much fun with these quirky images and here we have Clive the 'Not Quite' so honest Clive. It did seem quite simple and without risk but the daffodil wasn't the only little piece of nature to benefit from a drop of the good stuff. The huge bees were a bit of a surprise but seemed still quite friendly. But. The snails have taken quite a liking to the boost of speed caused by the glowing granules and goodness know what will happen if the slugs learn about that super daff and find the snails tucking in. There may be troubles ahead.....

Printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils.

BBQ What ever the weather

By Rick St. Dennis
Background
for Mischief Circus

When a BBQ has been promised and the family has brought their appetites what else could a bloke do but stay in the garden and see it through. The rain is beating steadily on the parasol and the Aunties are gazing out the french windows, the wife and her sister are in the kitchen getting through the plonk and dropping the salad on the floor. Uncle Pete is in the shed with the home brew and the dog's run off with the sausages. But. The first steak is ready.
Printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils then imported into Craft Artist 2 for tidying up and the background.

Fairy and Friend

By Selina Fenech
Background Special Effects 2 and Under The Moon
for Mischief Circus
I love this image given free by the artist and would certainly buy more if it wasn't for the stupid tax laws which have made it difficult for the artist to sell her art here in the UK. Saddens me that for pence we are unable to support the artist. Great going EU.
Printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils.

The second of the series. Here we have Dave on his hols just about to dip his toe. He has completed a risk assessment. Has full safety gear, complete with breathing apparatus and goggles and is ready..

My Stud Muffin

This new set by Rick is gorgeous. There are so many slim ladies and gents out there that now is the time for the real stuff. Meat on the bones and a little bit of padding! I have been looking forward to colouring this couple since I first saw them and their friends will be here in the next few days. Oh, oh.. I feel a story coming on!

Mermaid for Mitzi

by Mitzi
for Aurora Wings
Background Sirens of the Sea
for Mischief Circus

This was the most amazing prize and the thought behind it was so lovely. On one of the competition weekends Mitzi asked us all for the name of our favourite Aurora Wings image. The winner of the competition was then asked who they would like to 'pay it forward' to. Theresa won a prize and paid it forward to me!!!!!! How wonderful was that! Thank you Theresa, you really made my day.
This was the message I received from Mitzi
Congratulations!! You have been named as the recipient of the "Pay It Forward" portion of Theresa Burnham's prize in Contest #11. You wished for "Princess of the Sea" digi, and I'm here to deliver it to you.

Well.. you can imagine my astonishment. So very pleased to have this delightful image to work with.

Well.. what can I say? This glorious image just speaks for itself. I am quite taken with Rick's oriental images, they are lovely to spend time on the colouring and design of the background to show this off as best I can. The image has been printed onto neenah and coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pencils then imported into Craft Artist 2 for the background.

Twinkles

Twinkles
by make it crafty

This lovely little fairy was given to us by Zoe from Make it Crafty. I think it is known as Manga style and I am not used to colouring such an image. I am really pleased with how this has turned out. I wish I knew how I did her eyes.. I am quite chuffed - was it really me who coloured them?
I am not able to link the image back to make it crafty but I will as soon as I can.

The Rick St. Dennis Surprise Challenge

by Rick St. Dennis
The day had finally arrived. The auditions for the Christmas 'do'. The dragonflies had flown around the riverbank wearing the most attractive antlers to advertise the event with their baubles catching on the bullrushes. The mice were busy hanging up the fairy-lights and carrying the Christmas present props until Billy tripped and the carefully wrapped gifts nearly fell into the water. Gloria the robin was given a lift by Peter mouse to save her wings for the finale and really it wasn't such a good idea for the Goldfish family to wear elf hats until the 'Big Day'.. the hats just became soggy and no use to anyfish.
