Background Lake House for Mischief Circus
Sassy had decided that today was the day! Today the Executioner would propose to her. He didn't know it yet.. but that was a small matter. Yes, there was a small problem.. really just a tiny problem. The Executioner thought he loved Hannah. There was a strong scent laying heavily in the dank air. No small furry animals scurried about their business, no bones scattered around ready to be made into wind chimes. No scraps of fur for the birds to gather to keep their young cozy. Leigh had told Mr Rat not to go but he was beyond listening, he just shuffled on out of sight into the Lake House.
Something kept banging into the struts, shaking the boards and nearly throwing Sassy into the murky water. In a loved up haze she decided to get home as soon as she could and so she didn't see or hear the high pressure jet of gloopy liquid which hit her ankle, took hold and dragged her off the jetty into the water. Sassy's death shocked the residents of the lakeside, their lives changed forever.
This is for the Smeared and Smudged wonderfully spooky hop. If you are hopping you should have arrived here from the amazing Maureen and your next stop is the fantastic Domino Art Have fun Mwahaha
